Matt, Des, and I went to the Rutherford Pancake House yesterday since a friend told they have a vegan menu, which you can see at their website: http://www.rutherfordpancakehouse.com/

We walked in and we sat down and the waitress gave us the vegan menu, which is separate from their regular menu. I asked the waitress how she knew we wanted the vegan menu, and she said "Haven't you guys been here before?" I said no but we wanted the vegan menu so thank you!

It was really good. My husband got the Tofu Scramble, Chili Con Fu and I got pancakes with strawberries. We got a side of vegan sausage as well. mmm it was so good. I would recommend the Tofu Scramble over the pancakes. The pancakes were good but the scramble was so good!

The owners told us that they are not vegan but thought the vegan menu would be a great idea and the vegan menu has really taken off. They are going to put the vegan menu in with the regular menu. We went because of the vegan menu.

We then walked down the street to the Sweet Avenue Bake Shop (http://sweetavenuebakeshop.com/index.html) and got two awesome cupcakes. The owners of the Pancake House are friends with the Sweet Avenue Bake Shop!

It was an awesome day of delicious.
